1. What we collect
Account data: email, display name, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text).
Reading data: your plan start date, the days you mark complete, and your language preference.
Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only a subscription status and customer ID.
2. How we use your data
To run your account, track your reading progress, generate reflections, process payments, and send essential service emails (sign-in confirmations, receipts). We don't sell your data and don't run third-party ad trackers.
3. Where it lives
Your data is stored with our hosting provider on secure infrastructure with row-level access controls — your data is only ever readable by you.
4. Your rights
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your reading history and profile data. You can export your data on request.
5. Cookies
We use a single cookie for keeping you signed in, and localStorage for your language preference. No advertising or tracking cookies.
